Advanced Rock Climbers

| Ages 8-15 | 18:30-20:00 |

Advanced Rock Climbers

How does it work?

This is our advanced level for children aged 8-15 years wanting to progress into the sport of rock climbing.

It’s a series of progressive coaching sessions (1.5 hours duration each) concentrating on climbing technique and movement. The aim is to develop the candidates into independent and motivated climbers.

Candidates will be allowed to enrol in the Advanced Rock Climbers only if they are already in possession of Nicas Level 2 accreditation or can already competently and reliably belay independently.

The coaching sessions aim to cater for each individual’s needs. Competence often varies depending on several factors therefore it’s not guaranteed that all the candidates will achieve the requirements as described in our syllabus within the same number of coaching sessions.

If, at the end of the sessions, a candidate is still working towards our syllabus requirements, the next step is to enrol again in the Advance Rock Climbers sessions to progress further.
